Industry Experiences

WHAT ARE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCES?

Take the opportunity to present and discuss your game-changing experiences with other practitioners and researchers, learn from experts, share your own expertise and make new contacts!

Industry experiences is the venue for business practitioners to present their game-changing concepts, products and services. We welcome proposals from a variety of organisations and game-changing projects and practices, from the area of design (UX, service, interaction, visual etc), user research, technical development, product/project management, entrepreneurship, communication, strategy and more.

WHAT DO YOU SUBMIT?

An industry experience submission may tell a story of any phase of concept or product development process, as long as it is related to the conference theme of game-changing design. We encourage submissions that describe and demonstrate practices, methods, products or services that has changed the game, for example in terms of:

  • What users and stakeholders can do
  • How practitioners work
  • How research is done or used
  • How the market evolves

Submission formats

The submission is a pdf of max. 6 pages, conforming to the SIGCHI Extended Abstracts 2014 Format. Your submission should include a textual and visual description of the purpose of your project and how it is contributing to changing the game.  The author names should be included the submission, as the review process for Industry Experiences is not anonymised.
